More blast from the past: I used to draw many of the strips in a very dark pencil 8or in a light pencil pressed down too hard,)
then I would tweak the composition a bit, then vectorize it using Adobe Streamline!
Of course, I'd then color it using a mouse. If it sounds ike a long process, it was.
